I didn’t set out to start my presence on Substack with a discourse on the subject of" “Stupidity,” but the Cosmic Algorithm seems to have picked up on the theme after I posted that George Carlin bit yesterday. This morning YouTube offered several selections that expand on the theme.

Today I am posting some excerpts from an interview with an author I’d not heard of until today, Robert Green. I think he pretty well describes the abyss that awaits us starting next week (Jan 20, 2025).

Here’s the full video, which makes some interesting comparisons between the ancient Greek Peloponnesian Wars and, say, W’s war in Iraq. Clearly, human stupidity has been with us all along (nor is it likely going away any time soon).
